Giving in Ramadan

Ramadan is a month of mercy, forgiveness, and immense blessings. It is the time when our deeds carry the greatest rewards, and charity is one of the most beloved acts in the sight of Allah.

The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said:

“The best charity is that given in Ramadan.”
(Tirmidhi)

Following the Sunnah of our beloved Prophet ﷺ by feeding the hungry, helping the poor, and giving in charity brings countless rewards from Allah. Every act of kindness in this sacred month is multiplied, and those who give with sincerity will find their generosity returned in both this life and the Hereafter.

As we break our fasts, let’s remember those who have nothing to eat. Your donation today can provide food, water, and essential aid to those in desperate need. Seize this opportunity to earn Allah’s mercy—give now and be a source of relief for the less fortunate.

Zakat & Sadaqah

Both Zakat and Sadaqah are powerful acts of charity that purify our wealth and bring us closer to Allah.

Zakat is an obligatory form of charity, a pillar of Islam that every eligible Muslim must give annually. It is a fixed percentage (2.5%) of your wealth and assets, including savings, investments, and business profits, provided you meet the minimum threshold (Nisab). Zakat helps to purify your wealth and ensures it is distributed to those in need, fighting poverty and promoting social justice. It also draws us closer to Allah’s mercy and reminds us of our responsibility toward the less fortunate.

Eligibility for Zakat:

Sadaqah, while voluntary, holds immense rewards, whether given in small or large amounts. Every act of Sadqah, whether helping someone with a smile, providing food, or supporting essential projects, earns continuous blessings from Allah and relieves those in need.

This Ramadan, your Sadqah and Zakat, through Guardians Hands Welfare Trust, can provide food, clean water, healthcare, and education to those who need it most. Purify your wealth and earn the rewards of this blessed month by giving generously.

This Ramadan, Help End Thirst and Hunger

Our RO Plant serves clean and safe drinking water to 1,500 people daily, providing a vital resource to those who otherwise would go thirsty. In a time when clean water is scarce, your contribution to this project ensures that families can hydrate with ease while earning you countless rewards and blessings from Allah, as the Holy Prophet (PBUH) has said:

“The best charity is giving water to drink.”

(Ahmad)

Similarly, our Student Meal Program provides nutritious meals each day to all 150 students, supporting their education and growth while nourishing their bodies. This initiative reflects the Prophet’s (PBUH) teaching:

“Whoever feeds a hungry person, Allah will feed him from the fruits of Paradise.”

(Tirmidhi)

Your donations to these programs are a source of endless Barakah. Every drop of water and every meal given is an act of charity that brings you closer to Allah, filling both your heart and the hearts of those in need with mercy and gratitude.
