What is Qurbani?

Qurbani means sacrifice. Every year during the Islamic month of Dhul Hijjah, Muslims around the world slaughter an animal to reflect the Prophet Ibrahim’s willingness to sacrifice his son Ismail for the sake of Allah. The Prophet Muhammadﷺ said: “There are no days on which righteous deeds are more beloved to Allah than these ten days” (Bukhari) So, donate to us today and multiply your blessings during these ten blessed days.

Allah continues to shower us with seasons of goodness, providing opportunities for His mercy and forgiveness. Alhamdulillah, we are now in the months of Hajj. There’s no better time to seek His mercy and forgiveness than during these blessed ten days.

GHWT Qurbani Program 2024

Guardian Hands is on a mission to bring the joy of Qurbani to the people of Khano Goth in Karachi. The situation is dire; many families are grappling with extreme poverty, struggling to meet even their basic needs. For most of these families, your Qurbani during Eid will be the only time they get to eat the meat. By sharing your Qurbani with them, you are extending a helping hand to those in need and following in the footsteps of our beloved Prophet Ibrahim AS. Khano Goth, with an estimated population of 5,000, urgently needs our help. Last year, through our Qurbani program, we served around 250 families. We are determined to reach out to even more this year, but we can only achieve this with your support. This Eid, share your blessings with the less privileged in Khano Goth. Donate today and support this noble cause.
